Transparency Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence

In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the “AI Act”) and the relevant transparency requirements applicable as of 2 August 2026, this website provides the following information regarding the possible use of generative artificial intelligence systems.

Use of AI-Generated Images

Some pages of this website may contain images that have been created or modified with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools.

This may occur, in particular, where there is no active subscription to stock image/photo libraries or where suitable original photographs for the published content are not available.

The use of AI-generated images is intended solely for illustrative purposes and to provide graphic support to the textual content of the website. It is not intended to realistically depict specific people, places, events or situations, nor to replace factual or documentary information.

Transparency and Identification of AI-Generated Content

Where an image has been generated or modified using AI tools, the website undertakes, to the extent technically possible, to:

• indicate this by means of a statement such as “Image generated using artificial intelligence” or similar wording; or

• include this information in the image’s textual description or caption,

so that users can clearly identify the artificial nature of the content, in line with the transparency requirements set out in the AI Act.

Absence of Deceptive Practices and Deepfakes

The website does not intentionally use AI systems to create images that could make non-existent people, events or situations appear real (so-called deepfakes), nor does it use AI to misleadingly alter genuine visual content.

Should image manipulation techniques be used in a manner that could be mistaken for authentic content, appropriate information will be provided to users regarding the artificial or manipulated origin of the content, in accordance with the principles of transparency and non-deceptiveness.

Updates to this Notice

This notice may be updated to reflect any changes in applicable legislation, guidelines issued by the competent authorities, or technological developments in the artificial intelligence systems used.
